Same Pillows-New Website!

Are you guys following the Danielle Oakey Pillow Shop saga? We love Danielle Oakey (@danielleoakeyshop) as much as we love her pillows! Her blog is great, her Insta stories highlight the daily life of this ‘momtrepreneur’, and her pillows are coveted by all. Just as Oakey's shop was gaining more momentum and business was expanding the worst thing happened...ETSY shut down her shop! To make it worse, poor Danielle was on vacation when this happened! We’ve been wondering why ETSY would do such a thing, you would think they would want a successful business on their platform? Oakey just filled us in on her Instagram story Q&A this week:

"ETSY removed it without notice.  I woke up  and it was gone.  They said my items did not meet their home made criteria. I've tried to get it back but it's not looking good."  -Danielle Oakey

What a total bummer, we can't even imagine the panic. But she quickly bounced back and within days launched a new website (DaneilleOakeyShop.com) which in hindsight she was probably ready for anyways. She's been honest about the fact that she struggling a bit with getting her followers and buyers to her new site (because all links out there linked to her old shop) so please check her out here and tell your friends. We know she's going to come out on top and look forward to continuing to follow her journey. 

She's mentioned that she’s going to be releasing some new lesser priced pillows so stay tuned for that! You can sign up for her newsletter on her website to stay in the loop.
