When you think of a white fridge you may picture the freezer-top fridge in your college apartment or the garage fridge at your grandma's house growing up. However, GE Appliances is bringing back white in a big way with their new Cafe Appliance collection. In another episode of “how did we not think of that,” this new GE line is giving typical appliances “personality” and a whole new look. Most notable (to us anyway) is the newly designed streamlined hardware- you can choose from brushed copper, bronze, black or stainless finishes for these beauties. You then combine your selection with the color appliance that best fits your design- do you want white, black or stainless finish? The white with the brushed bronze hardware seems to be the front runner that we've been seeing all over in the design world. The fridge seems to be getting all the credit but Cafe Appliances currently offers a suite of appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and ovens to elevate the look of any kitchen. Sorry stainless, you've had your run for many years, now it’s time for a fresh look in appliance design...it only took 20 years!
